YOUR APPLICATION, STEP BY STEP
Turn an ambition into a plan.
Start early, use the right nationality route and work from the university’s current checklist. An organised application is easier to verify.
Four entry labels. No hidden promises.
No written exam
The published route assesses school results and an application dossier. An interview or further checks may still be requested.
Interview · no written exam
No separate written science entrance test is listed, but a successful interview and academic conditions are required.
Test exemption possible
A written test is the normal route. Specific qualifications may qualify for a waiver, subject to university confirmation.
Entrance test required
Prepare for the published academic and language assessments, including any oral stage.
The documents that usually matter
Your university may ask for originals, certified copies or scans at different stages. Do not pay to translate or legalise every document before confirming the required format.
| Document | What to verify |
|---|---|
| School qualifications | A-level/GCSE certificates, subject grades, transcripts, predicted results and recognition requirements. |
| Identity | Passport, name changes and consistent spelling across documents. |
| English evidence | Accepted test, GCSE English or native-speaker exemption; obtain university confirmation. |
| Supporting evidence | Motivation statement, CV, references, medical certificate or other programme-specific forms. |
| Certification | Whether the recipient wants the original, certified copy, translation, apostille or a combination. |
Applying from Britain after Brexit
Living in the UK and holding only a British passport will usually put you on a non-EU admissions route. If you also hold EU citizenship, ask which nationality and qualifications should be used for your application. Fees, document recognition and immigration conditions may differ.
A short visa-free visit does not provide permission to complete a multi-year degree. Check the destination’s student visa or residence procedure, evidence of funds, insurance and enrolment deadlines.
Questions worth asking admissions
- Will my precise A-level subjects and grades qualify, and are predicted grades accepted?
- Is any written or oral examination required for my route? Can you confirm a waiver in writing?
- What local-language level is needed for clinical placements, and by when?
- What is the complete fee schedule, deposit refund policy and cost of repeating a year?
- Who issues the final qualification, and where will all clinical training take place?
- What documents do you need for UK graduates, in which language and certification format?
