Admission requirements and documents
Check each university’s exact school-leaver, graduate or prerequisite-course route. Original qualifications need individual recognition; no cross-country grade conversion is assumed.
Tuition fees and total costs
Request an intake-specific fee schedule in its original currency, including clinical campus costs, compulsory training and any prior-degree requirement.
Use the programme-specific fee year and written offer. The budget planner adds editable living costs, travel, setup costs and contingency; those assumptions are not university quotations.
What to confirm with the university
- Will my exact qualification and subjects be accepted?
- Can I access all compulsory clinical placements and the internship as an international student?
- What will the UK regulator require for my award and expected graduation year?
UK registration routes in this destination
HKU · DentistryAdditional assessment / exams / training
For a new graduate, plan for GDC ORE or LDS and the other registration conditions. Historical recognition of certain overseas degrees does not cover today’s entrants. ORE eligibility includes evidence of at least 1,600 hours personally treating patients.
CityUHK · VeterinaryRecognised qualification, conditions apply
The specified award has a published RCVS recognition route, subject to applicable accreditation and graduation dates and other registration conditions. Recheck before enrolment and graduation.
Studying abroad and returning to the UK
Check the student visa or residence rules for your nationality and the professional-registration route for your expected graduation year. English teaching does not remove local-language requirements that may apply in clinical practice.
