Before you use MedStudy

MedStudy provides general educational information. It does not provide legal or other professional advice, assess your individual eligibility, or guarantee admission or registration. Browsing, subscribing or contacting MedStudy does not by itself create a contract for advice or a professional relationship with the founder or his separate practices. Nothing in this notice excludes liability or rights that the law does not allow us to exclude.

1. What MedStudy provides

MedStudy.eu is an independent educational information project founded by Mihail Florin Gavrila. Its website, programme directory, articles, newsletters, PDFs, checklists, comparisons and interactive tools help students, families and advisers investigate healthcare study abroad. References to MedStudy describe the project; they do not imply that it is a university, regulator, professional practice or separately incorporated company.

The material is general information for initial research. It is not prepared for your particular qualifications, nationality, immigration position, finances, health, intended profession or circumstances. It is not an offer of a university place, an application service, or a promise to secure an outcome.

2. No legal, notarial or other professional advice

Nothing published by MedStudy constitutes personal legal, notarial, immigration, tax, financial, medical or other regulated professional advice. Discussion of legislation, documents, visas, qualification recognition or professional registration is educational information, not a legal opinion or an assessment of your entitlement.

A checklist, calculator, comparison, qualifications match or automated result does not decide admission, suitability, funding, immigration permission or eligibility to practise. Obtain advice from an appropriately qualified adviser where your decision requires it. Do not use MedStudy to diagnose or treat a medical condition.

3. No professional retainer or advisory contract by access

Merely visiting or using the website, following a link, downloading material, subscribing to a newsletter, using a tool or sending an unsolicited enquiry does not by itself engage the founder or any of his separate businesses to advise or act for you. It does not by itself create a solicitor–client, notary–client, adviser–client, fiduciary, agency or other professional relationship, or a contract to provide advice, monitor your affairs or protect a deadline.

Ordinary MedStudy correspondence is educational or administrative unless a different service has actually been agreed. Do not assume that a message has been accepted as instructions, that a matter is being handled, or that a limitation, application or other deadline is being monitored. Obtain express confirmation from the relevant provider before relying on any engagement.

Any separately agreed professional, commercial or paid service is governed by its own engagement and applicable law. This notice does not cancel an existing engagement, override a contract actually made, or remove duties that arise under law or from the actual circumstances. It is an explanation of scope, not a demand that you waive rights by browsing.

4. The founder’s status and separate business interests

The founder’s qualifications and professional titles describe his background. They do not turn MedStudy content into professional advice, a notarial act, certification, or a personal assurance about a course or career. They do not establish specialist expertise in medical education, admissions, immigration or professional registration.

MedStudy is not a legal or notarial practice and is not authorised or regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority or the Faculty Office as such a service. Neither regulator is represented as approving MedStudy or its content. Do not assume that professional indemnity insurance, compensation arrangements or complaint schemes associated with a separate professional practice cover your use of MedStudy; their applicability depends on the facts and their own rules.

The founder’s legal and notarial practices and any other businesses with which he is connected are separate from this educational project. A shared founder, name, link, contact detail or promotional banner does not by itself make any such business your adviser, a party to a transaction, a guarantor of MedStudy, or responsible for a third party’s services. This does not exclude responsibility for a person’s own acts where the law imposes it.

5. Verify the exact course and your own route

Before applying, paying a deposit, signing a contract or making travel plans, obtain current written confirmation from the relevant university and official authorities. Check the exact qualification, awarding institution, campus, intake, nationality route, entry criteria, fees, refund terms, clinical placements, teaching and patient-contact languages, visa or residence requirements, and any accessibility or healthcare arrangements you need.

Admission, graduation and permission to practise are separate decisions. A listing, accreditation reference, ranking or previous graduate’s experience does not guarantee recognition of your particular qualification or registration at your expected graduation date. Confirm your intended route with the relevant regulator, including the GMC, GDC, GPhC, PSNI or RCVS where applicable. Rules and recognition arrangements may change during a multi-year degree.

A label such as ‘no written entrance exam’ does not mean automatic admission or exemption from interviews, academic thresholds, language evidence or document checks. Budget figures are estimates or dated reference amounts, not binding quotations; exchange rates, tuition, living costs and funding conditions can change.

6. Sources, review dates and AI-assisted material

We aim to present useful, source-linked information, but cannot promise that every item is complete, current or free from error. A ‘reviewed’ date records a check; it does not mean continuous monitoring, official approval or confirmation of a later intake. An official-source link does not make our summary an official statement. Consult the complete, current source and clarify any conflict with its publisher.

MedStudy uses AI-assisted research, drafting and website tools. Summaries, translations and automated outputs can omit context or contain errors. Illustrations do not prove the appearance, facilities or quality of a named institution. Content may be corrected, changed, suspended or withdrawn; we do not undertake to notify each reader individually. Nothing here excuses a misleading statement or other conduct for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Universities, external links and commercial content

Universities, regulators, agents, accommodation providers and other external organisations control their own decisions and services. Links, listings, quotations and references do not by themselves establish affiliation, partnership, endorsement or a recommendation suited to you. External websites have their own terms, privacy practices and security risks.

Where advertising, sponsorship or affiliate arrangements are used, they should be clearly identified. Their presence does not guarantee quality, suitability or a result. Check who is contracting with you and the applicable terms before paying a third party. MedStudy does not guarantee a third party’s conduct or performance. This does not remove any responsibility MedStudy has for its own advertising, representations or legal obligations.

8. Availability, tools and saved work

We do not promise uninterrupted access, permanent availability or error-free operation. Browser-saved shortlists and checklists may be lost if settings, devices or site data change. Keep your own copies of important records and verify calculations independently. Take reasonable precautions when opening external links or downloading files; do not treat the website as a secure document repository or deadline-management service.

9. Limits of responsibility, subject to law

Subject always to section 10 below, and only to the extent that the exclusion is lawful, fair and reasonable, MedStudy’s publisher, the founder and contributors exclude liability arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the project’s general information, downloads and tools, whether claimed in contract, tort (including negligence), misrepresentation or otherwise.

Within those same limits, this includes losses connected with an unsuccessful application, missed opportunity or deadline, tuition or deposit, travel or accommodation commitment, funding or exchange-rate change, qualification recognition, professional registration, loss of earnings or profits, loss of data, or indirect or consequential loss. Listing a type of loss here does not make it legally excludable. Where an exclusion is prohibited or fails the applicable fairness or reasonableness test, it does not apply.

This notice explains the limited purpose of the publication. It cannot determine liability regardless of the facts, create immunity for the founder, or transfer all risk to the reader. No arbitrary monetary cap, blanket indemnity or automatic waiver is imposed.

10. Rights and liabilities that remain protected

Nothing in this notice excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. Nothing removes statutory consumer rights, applicable data-protection rights, or remedies and duties that the law makes mandatory, including duties arising under any separately agreed service.

Any applicable requirement of fairness, transparency or reasonableness continues to apply. Mandatory protections and access to courts or complaint bodies are preserved. Your awareness of this notice does not itself mean that you voluntarily accept a risk, consent to data processing, or surrender a legal right.

11. Personal information and confidential documents

Our Privacy page explains data handling and available choices. This disclaimer is not a privacy notice or consent request. Do not send passports, medical records, bank details or other sensitive documents merely to obtain general information. Ordinary contact with MedStudy should not be assumed to attract legal professional privilege or the confidentiality arrangements of a separately engaged solicitor or notary. This does not remove applicable privacy, confidentiality or data-protection duties.

12. Questions, corrections and updates

For a correction or question about this notice, email mihail@medstudy.eu with the relevant page and, where possible, the current official source. Do not wait for a response if an application, legal or other deadline is approaching; contact the responsible institution or an appropriate adviser directly.

This notice is framed by the law of England and Wales without displacing any mandatory law that applies to you. It does not impose an exclusive court or a shortened claim period. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it has no effect to that extent; the remainder applies only so far as lawful and fair. Updates apply prospectively and do not retrospectively remove accrued rights. The version and review date above identify this notice.
