RSU’s 2027 medicine and dentistry windows: choose the right applicant category
By MedStudy editorial · Published 26 Oct 2026
Rīga Stradiņš University lists separate February and September 2027 application windows, with different closing dates by citizenship category.
RSU’s current calendar separates applicants by citizenship and visa category. For the February 2027 intake, its medicine and dentistry table closes on 1 December 2026 for EU/EEA and visa-free-country applicants, 1 November for other non-EU/EEA applicants, and 1 October for additional-assessment-country applicants. The earlier deadline has already passed.
For September 2027, the published application period starts on 1 March 2027. The table gives closing dates of 1 July, 1 May and 1 April respectively for those same categories.
Check which category applies to your passport before planning documents or travel. RSU’s table and the detailed calendar differ on the February intake’s opening date; confirm that detail directly with admissions. These windows do not update previously quoted tuition fees or guarantee an offer.
