New pharmacy pathway supports development after registration
By MedStudy editorial · Published 26 Oct 2026
Original announcement: 7 Sept 2026
The Royal College of Pharmacy launches an enhanced curriculum and credentialing pathway for newly qualified pharmacist prescribers.
The pathway combines professional experience, support and portfolio evidence, with access through national arrangements in England, Scotland and Wales.
Pharmacy students should distinguish initial registration from subsequent professional development. National eligibility and funding arrangements differ; the enhanced credential does not replace registration or grant overseas-qualification recognition.
